Ukoo Oil

A rich infusion of natural oils crafted to nourish, strengthen, and restore coily hair from root to tip. Lightweight yet deeply penetrating, Ukoo Oil supports length retention and lasting shine.

Ingredients: Ricinus Communis (Castor) Seed Oil, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis (Sweet Almond) Oil, Adansonia Digitata (Baobab) Seed Oil, Emblica Officinalis (Amla) Fruit Powder, Eclipta Prostrata (Bhringraj) Powder, Trigonella Foenum-Graecum (Fenugreek) Seed, Nigella Sativa (Black Seed), Hibiscus Sabdariffa Flower, Eugenia Caryophyllus (Clove) Bud, Rosemary Extract, Tocopherol.

Instructions:

Ukoo Oil is made to fit your own routine. Use it any way you'd use your usual hair oil. Here's some of are our favourite ways:

1. As a scalp massage oil

• Apply a few drops directly to your scalp.
• Massage with your fingertips (not your nails) for 5–10 minutes.
• Use daily or a few times a week, on dry or damp hair.
• That's it! 
• Tip! Make sure to wash and dry your scalp weekly, if you use Ukoo Oil on your scalp.

2. In your layering routine (LOC, LCO, LOGC…)

Use Ukoo Oil as the "O" in whichever layering method works for your hair:

• LOC: Leave-in → Ukoo Oil → Cream
• LCO: Leave-in → Cream → Ukoo Oil
• LOCG: Leave-in → Ukoo Oil  → Cream → Gel
• Or in any other moisture and seal combination.

3. As a pre-poo treatment

• Before washing, coat your hair (especially your ends) with Ukoo Oil.
• Leave it on for 30 minutes to overnight. Cover with a shower cap if you like.
• Wash as usual. This helps protect your strands from feeling stripped on wash day.

4. As a hot oil treatment

• Gently warm a small amount of oil by placing the bottle in a bowl of warm water.
• Apply it to your scalp and hair, then cover with a shower cap for 20–30 minutes.
• Shampoo or rinse it out.

5. To boost your deep conditioner

• Mix a few drops of Ukoo Oil into your deep conditioner or hair mask before applying.

6. To seal your ends and add shine

• Rub a drop or two between your palms and smooth over your ends, twists, braids or styled hair.
• This works well between wash days to refresh dry ends and add shine.
  

Tip: A little goes a long way. Start with a few drops and add more only if your hair needs it. Consistency is more important than quantity.
